So the Padres went on to win their second game in a row today beating the Giants 5-1. One of our minor league callups Josh Banks threw an impressive game notching his first win. Now that the Padres have one two in a row, they need to go for three in a row tomorrow which I believe they haven’t done all year. Even if the Padres do win their third in a row tomorrow, we need to remember who they are playing…….the Giants. It’s obvious that the Padres aren’t going to make a run for the playoffs this year so we should all hope that the Padres continue to give all of the fill-in innings to our rookies to give them some experience and confidence. To be completely honest, it does make me feel pretty good to see the Padres win on consecutive days, but I know not to keep my hopes high with this group of guys….
